While I’m not hijabi I love to invest in my hijabs for a variety of reasons. After having lots of friends who are Vela girlies, I caved and it was worth every penny. The modal is very light and breathable, which I feel is good. It’s like as if you’re not wearing anything. In addition, the patters are so lovely and the lengths that they offer are suited for multiple styles. I feel absolutely beautiful in my Vela hijabs and I’m glad I purchased. The only caveat is they do have to be steamed before every wear so they’re not wrinkled. I also wouldn’t use pins with modal just bcuz I find that depending on the pin it may leave a hole. Magnets or clips are best bet with modal. Overall great quality and great ethics for the price. I truly appreciate that the fabric for hijabs are ethically sourced and that they’re made at a women led facility. Much love for Vela!
I love these so much and I have bought 4 so far. They are so breathable in the back and loose enough. I love that there is only a fabric band around the part that’s covering the hair and. They’re very easy to wash. They do not look washed out at all. I loveeee these.
i really love and am obsessed with the material and i’m in a california right now and i paired it with a white bohemian skirt. I am obsessed with this abaya it’s my first time purchasing and i will be buying more and with their matching hijabs this time 🥰🥰🥰
