Hand made color blocks were lovingly carved by artisans to create this print on 100% luxurious Habari silk from Aleppo. The intricate design is printed in classic Aleppian colors that go with everything.
Habari Silk faces declining production due to the war. VELA honors this heritage with our unique representation, celebrating Syria’s rich cultural heritage of ancient textiles and paying homage to this timeless fabric. By purchasing you’re helping us preserve and revive a disappearing art form.
Each of these scarves features a custom print, and minor imperfections are a normal aspect of each piece, adding to its uniqueness. Please handle the delicate fabric with care and hand wash only.
